Chairman Profile

• Dr. Typhoon WEN serves as Chairman of VTeam Group, with over three decades of experience in commercial factoring and trade finance across China and global markets. As an authority on commercial factoring, supply chain finance, risk management, and SME finance, Dr. WEN is widely regarded as a pioneering innovator who has shaped China’s commercial factoring and trade finance landscape. He was honored with the China-Australia Outstanding Contribution Award for Economic Development in 2023.

  
  

  Dr. WEN was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and has served as head of the education and training task force of the Commercial Factoring Expertise Committee of CATIS, expert member of China Supply Chain Finance (Commercial Factoring) 50 Forum, expert in the think tank of the Factoring Arbitration & Mediation Center of DIAC and arbitrator of the Hainan Arbitration Commission. He was accredited by FCI in 1994 and was appointed expert lecturer for around 100 banks and commercial factoring institutions, including the People’s Bank of China, Bank of China, and China Construction Bank. He has published several papers and monographs and made outstanding contributions to the innovative development of China’s commercial factoring and trade finance industries.

A strong team builds a solid foundation for innovation and development of the VTeam Group. The VTeam Group has about 500 employees, among whom senior executives and core leaders have more than 10 years of experience in commercial factoring, supply chain finance and trade finance.

Fintech is a critical component of the VTeam Group’s DNA. The technical and R&D team accounts for more than half of the Group’s employees, of whom holders of bachelor's degree, master’s degree and above account for more than 90%, and those with 5 years of work experience and above account for a large proportion. From the perspective of age structure, the Group has a rather young workforce, which is conducive to the long-term and robust development of the Group.
